Overview
SITRANS — Governance and Social Impact of Coal Regions under Transition — focused on the governance and social dimensions of the transition of coal-dependent regions. It sought more inclusive approaches to regional decarbonisation by engaging public institutions, private organisations, stakeholders and civil society.
Its perspective included the social distribution of the benefits, costs and risks associated with structural transformation and decarbonisation.
